Denver Home Show Kicks Off March 20 with Lineup of National Celebrity Guests

DIY Network’s Bath Crashers host, Matt Muenster, and 2015 Home + Garden Trendsetter of the Year winner, Leanne Lee, take the stage throughout the weekend

The Denver Home Show opens its doors on March 20, 2015 and continues through March 22 at the National Western Complex. This year, the show welcomes DIY Network’s Matt Muenster, host of Bath Crashers, to share eco-friendly design ideas to incorporate into the bathroom. Also, the 2015 Home + Garden Trendsetter of the Year winner, Leanne Lee, will be onstage all weekend to discuss the art of upcycling for home décor and more.

Muenster is a licensed contractor and designer from Minnesota. On Bath Crashers, he transforms outdated bathrooms into timeless spaces for any family and any design style. Through his experience on the DIY Network and his most recent appearance as a master carpenter on HGTV’s Ellen’s Design Challenge, Muenster proves that he can step out of bathroom design and apply his skills to a wide variety of home renovation projects. Muenster will be on the Fresh Ideas Stage presented by American Furniture Warehouse on Friday, March 20 at 6 p.m., Saturday, March 21 at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., and Sunday, March 22 at noon.

Leanne Lee, better known as the DIY Diva, is this year’s Home + Garden Trendsetter of the Year winner. Back in July of 2014, Marketplace Events introduced a new contest to find the most influential lifestyle blogger in the U.S. After a few months and multiple challenges, Lee’s personality and talents rose to the top. As this year’s Trendsetter of the Year, she wants to teach consumers how to design and create home accessories using items most people discard. Lee will share her budget-friendly ideas on the Fresh Ideas Stage on Friday, March 20 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., Saturday, March 21 at noon and 3 p.m., and Sunday, March 22 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Denver Home Show welcomes back Wynn Waggoner of Wynn Interiors and Intuitive Design. As an experienced interior designer, Waggoner will offer free design consultations to all Home Show guests at the Ask The Designer booth. Additionally, the show’s newest features are a Tiny Home Village, which includes eight home models that showcase this popular downsizing movement, and a Backyard Bungalow space, including four fully furnished bungalow models, to inspire alternative uses for outdoor sheds. Going along with the theme of bringing the outdoors inside, the Home Show introduces the Art Walk—a miniature outdoor art festival set indoors. The Art Walk will feature greenery, landscapes, and food carts, and it will lead into the Tiny Home Village.
